Tips and Tricks for Beautiful Legs

When it comes to their body, women always find something to complain about. Frustration is a common feeling when talking about big bellies, thick thighs or love handles. Some of them would do anything for that perfect body they see on covers of magazines or on the runways. But, there is something much more easy than self-starvation or crucial diets. You just need to know some easy tips and tricks that you can include in your daily lifestyle and you'll be more than ready to show off those sexy, beautiful legs.


Summer is close and you have just purchased the latest fashion trends. But, are you really ready for showing off your legs in those sexy shorts or in that amazing swimsuit you bought? Following just a few tips you will be able to wear anything you like without feeling embarrassed.

  • Food. A healthy and balanced diet keeps you from gaining weight and the legs from puffing out. For beautiful and soft legs, you should choose red fruits rich in antioxidants, vitamin C in citrus fruits, tomatoes, parsley and watermelon. Vitamin C helps increase circulation and therefore prevent varicose veins and keep your legs healthy.

    You should also eat seafood rich in copper, selenium and zinc. And, of course, avoid too salty plates and prepared food. Beautiful legs require some sacrifices, that's why you should give up to those tasty sweets and delicious cakes you usually used to enjoy.


  • Sport and exercise. Exercise is the best way to lose weight, but also to keep in shape and remodel your body. Toning exercises are great for you to prepare your legs for summer. Maybe you don't have enough time to go to the gym, but you can still work out at home for at least 30 minutes a day. You could also practice one of your favorite leisure sports. Running, walking, swimming, tennis or dancing are the options you have in order to tone up. For beautiful, sexy legs alternate a few types of exercises including bench jumps, squats and forward and sideway lunges.


  • Massage. In order to revitalize the lower part of your body and encourage the energy to circulate from the belly into the lower extremities, smoothly massage your legs. Start from your thighs, to the calves and the ankles, breathing out, and then go back in the back of your legs till the hips, breathing in.
    You should use body exfoliating creams every time you bathe or shower, as they boost blood circulation and make the skin much more receptive to slimming products. You can use self-tanning lotions to hide imperfections.

  • Green tea. You can take advantage of the hot days of summer and cool down with a cup of tasty green tea. Choose a genuine green tea, non-fermented, because it contains less caffeine but lots of antioxidants, great for boosting circulation. Green tea also encourages elimination and digestion. Products containing caffeine are partly responsible for the formation of orange-peel-looking skin on your legs, that anesthetic skin change known as cellulite.


  • Stay out of sun. Even if it's summer, try to stay out of sun because when the temperature of the legs rises, blood stagnates. In this sens, avoid Turkish baths, long sun exposures, and try to let some cold water run through your legs before you finish the shower or if you stay at the pool sit down and keep them in the water.
