Blemishes can be one one the most frustrating skin problems one has to deal with. For better coverage it is recommended to choose a liquid or cream foundation or a mineral based creamy foundation. Make sure that you apply concealer after you have applied the foundation and the translucent powder for a flawless makeup and longer lasting results. It's a good idea to carry the concealer with you to be able to correct any problems that might appear.

Or make a paste by mixing olive oil with salt and turmeric powder. Keep the mixture on the affected areas for 15 minutes daily and apply it 2 or three times a week after blemishes have been reduced.

If neither of these solutions work consulting a dermatologists is a necessity. Left untreated blemishes can leave scars that can be extremely hard to remove. Your dermatologist can recommend a treatment that includes medication to treat the leading causes of blemishes. You should also consult an endocrinologist as hormonal changes might also be a cause of severe breakouts. By following professional advice the problem can be solved quicker and more effectively.
